Region 22 takes great pleasure in presenting awards to our members who have made significant contributions to the iris world. Three different awards are presented at the Saturday night banquet at our annual regional meeting. They are:
This is our region's most prestigious award. Established in 1982, it is given in the form of a specially designed medal to publicly recognize and honor a Region 22 member who has made significant outstanding contrubitions to the region and to the AIS. Past recipients are:

This award was established in 2001. It is a framed certificate and a small cash award to publicly recognize and encourage a youth member of the region for outstanding achievements in the cultivation of irises and their participation in local, regional and national iris organizations. Recipients for this award are the region's nominee for the AIS Clarke Cosgrove Youth Award.

This award was established in 1990. It is presented to the Region 22 hybridizer of the iris cultivar hybridized in the region that received the most Award of Merit votes on the AIS Official Ballot in a given year. The award is a traveling trophy engraved with the name of the iris cultivar and the hybridizer's name.
